Take home this rustic numbered edition print of "Wary Strangers" by Mel Steele. Artist signed and numbered 337/2500 limited print run. This piece is the first in a 5-year series celebrating SciWorks Environmental Parks. This piece includes the original print protection sheets and the certificate of authenticity.
Mel Steele is a North Carolina native. After a 30+ year career as a commercial artist, illustrator, art director, and owner of his own agency, he returned to fine art in the 1980s. Steele's fine art is marked by his attention to detail and craftsmanship, and focuses on the rural images inspired by his upbringing. He has put on a number of successful one man shows, published an art book, and successfully released highly successful limited edition reproduction runs of over 35 of his fine art pieces.
Print is not framed and does have indents at the top from a clip keeping the print and original paperwork together. Also has some smudges at the borders. with proper matting, shouldn't be an issue. Print page measures 24.5" x 14.5". The print protection pages are 25" x 16" (relevant for shipping).
